Police Crime Prevention Initiatives

The Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme is one of Police CPI's many crime prevention initiatives. The CPI seeks to achieve sustainable reductions in crime through design and other approaches to help people live in a safer society.

Secured by Design

Secured by Design focuses on crime prevention of homes and commercial premises and promotes the use of security standards for a wide range of applications and products. These principles have been proven to achieve a reduction of crime by up to 75%, and criminal damage by 25%.

Disabled Motoring UK

Disabled Motoring UK is the charity which supports disabled drivers, passengers and Blue Badge holders. DMUK works with government and businesses across the UK in order to improve parking, refuelling, and access provision for disabled people, so that they can access the goods and services that they need.
